Adding a Vimeo Video to your Digital Signage

If you have a video on VIMEO that you’d like to put on your digital signage, you can add that video by using Arreya’s website widget. Alternatively, you could download the video off of Vimeo and upload it directly to your Arreya media library.

Getting Started

To begin adding a Vimeo video to your Arreya presentation, start by logging into your channel. Next, in the dashboard of your Arreya account, click content from the top toolbar, then click presentations. Create a new presentation, or click the pencil icon on an existing presentation. Then, you will be in the presentation editor. In the editor, click on widgets from the top toolbar, then select the website widget.

After opening the website widget, you will see the widget settings. You can select between URL Input or embed code for the widget format.

 

 

Using Embed Code

If you want to insert your Vimeo video into your Arreya presentation using embed code, select embed code from the widget format dropdown menu. Next, copy the code from the Vimeo video, and paste it in the embed code field in the website widget settings. Lastly, you can toggle interactive and scrollable options on and off in the website widget settings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Using URL Input

If you want to insert your Vimeo video into your Arreya presentation by using the URL input option, select URL input from the widget format dropdown menu. Next, you’ll need to create your URL. The structure of the URL should look as follows: https://player.vimeo.com/video/videoid. You will replace video ID with the number at the end of the original video URL. At this point, you would be able to add your Vimeo video into your presentation, but it won’t automatically play. If you want the video to play automatically and loop, you can add this string to the end of your URL: ?autoplay=1&loop=1&autopause=0. The entire URL altogether would look like this: https://player.vimeo.com/video/videoid?autoplay=1&loop=1&autopause=0.
