How to Reinstall the Arreya Digital Signage App
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Arreya app can help resolve issues with presentation playback and content updates. Arreya is device agnostic, so the steps to uninstall and reinstall the application will vary based on device platform.
ChromeOS
To uninstall and reinstall the Arreya app in ChromeOS, you'll need to sign into the Google Admin Console with a super admin user at admin.google.com.
Find the device on the devices page (Devices>Chrome>Devices) and move it to an Organizational Unit (OU) with no apps installed. Reboot the device to ensure it receives the updated policy and removes all apps. When the device boots, a Chrome sign in page will display. Move the app back to its original OU which installs and auto launches Arreya. The newest version of Arreya will install and auto launch on the Chromebox, and a 4 digit pairing code will display on screen. Make note of the pairing code, sign into your Arreya account, delete the old device session, and pair you device.
Amazon Signage Stick
Press the settings button on the Amazon Signage Stick remote to open the settings menu. Select Storage, then navigate towards the bottom of the menu and select Other Apps. Select Arreya, then select clear storage. Select confirm, then press the home button on the remote.
The Signage Stick will automatically reinstall the Arreya app. A 4 digit pairing code will display on screen. Make note of the pairing code, sign into your Arreya account, delete the old device session, and pair you device.
WebOS (LG)
Using the LG remote or a connected mouse/keyboard, scroll to the top of the screen and select "Exit full screen" to see the browser bar. Click on the settings icon, then select "settings" and click on "Clear Browsing Data." Reboot the device. Your device should display a new pairing code. Make note of the pairing code, sign into your Arreya account, delete the old device session, and pair your device.
For any other devices that are not covered, you will need to research how to uninstall and reinstall apps for that device.
