How to Install Arreya in the Google Admin Console Using the Device Registration URL

Google has begun the process of eliminating all Chrome Web Store apps. As a result, the Arreya Chrome Webstore application (Chrome Webstore ID nloplhgjobaomjdppnbcdjfgbefifbdo) is no longer supported after version m150.

To launch Arreya using the Google Admin Console, the app must now be added by URL.

1. Sign into the Google Admin Console.

2. Create a new Organizational Unit (OU), or edit the existing OU.

3. Once the OU is created, select Devices > Chrome > Apps and Extensions.

4. Select Kiosks, the click the "+" button in the lower right hand corner.

5. Select "Add by URL".

6. Enter the Arreya Device Registration URL: https://api.arreya.com/device/register

7. Be sure that this is the only app version of Arreya installed in the OU, and remove the Arreya Chrome Web Store ID version if needed. Also make sure the Arreya Device Registration URL is set to Installed and set to auto launch.

8. Move all respective devices to the new OU. Arreya will now auto launch and a 4 digit pairing code will display on screen. You can issue a remote screenshot command, remote desktop, or view the physical screen to access the code.
