Step 1: Connect Your Device to the Internet Before pairing, you need to make sure your device is connected to the internet.
- Ethernet: If your network doesn't require extra setup, simply plug an ethernet cable into your device and the router/switch. If it requires a fixed IP or authentication, you'll need to manually configure it.
- Wi-Fi: If your device uses antennas, connect them first. Then, depending on your setup, either connect to the Wi-Fi manually using the device settings, or if it was pre-configured (e.g., in a Google Admin console), it should connect automatically.
- You can verify the connection status by logging into your Arreya Dashboard and checking the "Devices" section.
Step 2: Pair Your Device Once the device is online and the Arreya app is running, it will display a 4-character pairing code on the screen. You can also get a pairing code by going to you channel name/device/register (ex.yourchannel.arreya.com/device/register).

Follow these steps to pair it to your account:
- Keep the device powered on so the 4-character pairing code remains visible on the screen.
- From a computer or mobile device, log in to your Arreya account dashboard.
- Navigate to the "Management" menu on your dashboard.
- Click on [Devices].
- Click the [+ Add Device] button.
- Enter a memorable name for your device and type in the 4-character code that is currently displaying on your device's screen.
- Click [Add Device!] (or "OK").
Step 3: Schedule Your Content Once you click to add the device, it will pair successfully.
- If you already have a presentation scheduled to that channel, it will automatically start playing your content.
- If your device shows a black screen, you simply need to create and schedule your presentation content to display on that device.
