Monthly graphics and content to use in your Arreya presentation

Included are image files we have created and selected free for you to use in your Arreya presentations. Click on the links to download this month’s backgrounds, holidays and events. 

Themes, Backgrounds, and Graphics

Back to School
Green, blue, white, yellow, orange, teal, and pink squares create a checkerboard pattern filling the graphic. Inside each square is an icon of something related to school, such as sports equipment, books, stationary, clocks, calculators, globes and more. In the center is a transparent white rectangle overlapping the colorful squares. Tilted inside the white rectangle reads, ‘WELCOME BACK!’ in bold, black, serif letters with a white outline.
Back to School

Back to School

August 3 - Watermelon Day
A light pink background with slices of AI generated watermelon slices fall down in the center. The watermelon also has water splashing around them. Over top the melon are the words ‘National Watermelon Day AUG. 3rd.’ A thin, all-caps, white sans font, with a faint black drop shadow, was used for all the words. ‘National’ and the date are smaller in size and are along the top end bottom edges. ‘Watermelon Day’ is large and across the center of the image.
August 3 - Watermelon Day
A radial sun burst background with alternating neon yellow and bright blue rays. In the center of the image is a white oval with bubble letters at its top saying, NATIONAL Watermelon Day! National is in a green western serif font stacked on top of ‘Watermelon Day!,’ which is in an italic red cursive font. Below the words is a clipart style image of watermelon and two yellow eight pointed stars on either side of them. There is a whole watermelon in the center, a half, semi-circle slice to the right, and a triangle slice to the left.
August 3 - Watermelon Day
A slight gradient gray background from lighter gray at the top to darker gray at the bottom. An off white heart sits in the center with two blue borders; one light blue and the other a dusty blue. The bottom edge is covered in eight petaled flowers in hot pink, bright baby pink, and cyan. There’s a hot pink flower near the left and right bottom corners, then a pink flower next to each towards the center, and one small cyan flower in the bottom center. A cyan flower is above each edge of a hot pink flower. On either side of the top arches of the heart is a smaller hot pink flower. There are hot pink and cyan circle outlines floating above the heart and flowers. Tilted on top the center of the heart says, ‘National Friendship Day! Aug. 3’ A bright pink, bold, cursive font was used with a thick gray outline. The date is in a smaller size below the rest of the words. National is stacked on top of Friendship Day! And is center aligned. A small hot pink flower is next to the F in friendship.
August 3 - Friendship Day
A photo of a light blue sky is blurred in the background. AI images of a field of light pink cosmo flowers cross the image horizontally near the bottom. Across the bottom edge is a thick dark green rectangle. Inside the rectangle is the following message; Stay close to those who make your life feel like sunshine. A white, semibold, sans font was used. Near the top center and slightly behind the tallest cosmo flower are the words, ‘National Friendship Day.’ A dark green, retro, wavy fond was used. National is stacked on top and center aligned with Friendship Day. On either side of friendship day is a small dark green icon of a six petal flower.
August 3 - Friendship Day
A paper texture fills the image. The right side is diagonally filled with a single black, fern leaf print stretching up from the bottom until it reaches the top right corner.
Seasonal Background
A tan background covered eight horizontal lines of cats creating a pattern. The cats are light brown, brown, gray, or a black tuxedo color. Some are sitting down on their buts and facing forward, and some cats are fully laying down loaf style, so their legs can’t be seen. All the cats have bright gold eyes.
August 8 - Cat Day
A large, orange silhouette of a sitting cat is near on the left side of the graphic. Small, thick blue motion lines are next to the cat’s ears, neck and tip of its tail. Next to the cat are large words, about the same size as it, reading ‘CAT DAY!’ In condensed, all-caps, orange, bold, sans letters. Right aligned above Cat Day says ‘International’ in smaller, thin, blue cursive letters. Right aligned below Cat Day in the same cursive font is the date Aug. 8. The background is solid pink.
August 8 - Cat Day
A gradient blue background where there’s dark blue in the top left and bottom right corners that turn into a light blue in the center of the graphic. Small black polka-dots are scattered across the image. A solid black drawing of a cat sitting down is against the right side. The cat is sitting with its back towards facing, but its head is turned around so its face can be seen. Its tail is also sticking straight up along the right side. The details of the cat’s face and body aren’t a color, instead they show through the gradient background. Left aligned in the bottom left corner is text. Stacked near the center is ‘August EIGHT’ in small thin letters. A black paw print icon sits right next to the August Eight to its right. Next reads ‘INTERNATIONAL’ in medium sized, semibold letters. Lastly, in large bold letters at the bottom reads CAT DAY. An all-caps, black, sans font was used for all the words.
August 8 - Cat Day
A solid red background with a white icon of a smore in the center. Arching over the icon is the word ‘National’ in bold, gold, all-caps, serif letters. Below the N and the L of the arched world art small gold sans letters. Below the N is ‘AUG.’ Below the L is ‘10th.’ Along the bottom says ‘Smores Day’ in a smaller size, but the same gold serif font as National. On either side of Smores day is a thin, white X.
August 10 - S'mores Day
A light tan background with three of the exact same horizontally spaced apart the center of the graphic. The photo is a stack of three smores. Around each photo is a thin white rectangle border. The left and right photos are partially cut off the graphic’s edges. Above the center photo says ‘National Smores Day.’ ‘National’ is small, bold, all-caps sans letters nestled above the word smores. The ‘S’ in smores’ is written in a large, thin cursive. The rest of the letters are in the same bold sans font as before. Below the word smores is the word ‘Day’ in the same sans font and size. All the words and letters are in a dark brown color. Under the bottom right corner of the center rectangle border is the date August 10 in very small letters like the word national.
August 10 - S'mores Day
A solid lavender background with a clipart drawing of a bright purple bicycle in the bottom right corner. The bike has pink wheels and baskets in front of its handle bars and above its back wheel. The front basket holds little yellow flowers. The basket adobe the back wheel holds hot pink and purple flowers.
Seasonal Background
A digital watercolor painting of green lilypads floating on top of dark, almost black water. The painting uses a birds eye view perspective. One white lotus flower with pink petal tips sits near the bottom left corner. Near the top right corner is a small lotus flower bud in the same color.
Seasonal Background
A pale light blue background with a large gold yellow circle slightly to the right center of the graphic. A small royal blue circle overlaps the bottom right corner of the gold circle. Inside the gold circle is white line drawing of a heart made out of two touching arms and hands. Inside the blue circle is the date Aug. 13 in small, thin, all-caps, serif letters. The words ‘LEFT HANDERS DAY’ are stacked and left aligned to the left and partially overlapping the gold circle. The large black letters use the same serif font as the date. Below the stacked words is a sentence with very small black letters. It says, “Celebrate its uniqueness.”
August 13 - Left Handers Day
A solid muted red background with a slightly distressed texture. An outlined icon of a left hand reaching up with its hand tilted palm side up is in the bottom center of the graphic. A thin black horizontal line crossed near the top edge. Below the line ‘AUGUST 13TH IS’ in bold, black, sans, medium sized letters. Center aligned below that is, ‘Left Handers Day’ in large, black serif letter. The words are center aligned in the center of the graphic.
August 13 - Left Handers Day
A pale, off-white background. A drawing of a boy sitting down and hugging his large white dog is on the right side of the graphic. The boy is wearing a red shirt and dark gray pants. He and his dog have their heads together and are smiling. Near the top left corner says ‘International Dog Day!’ in a purple, all-caps sans font. The fonts vary from very thin to thick letters in no particular order, so it appears to be slightly handwritten. Below in small purple, sans letters is the date, August 26th. Below that in slightly larger, pink/red sans font says, ‘Love has 4 paws.’ To the left and top right of the boy and dog are pink/red drawings of flowers. An overlay of a wrinkled piece of paper covers the entire graphic to give it texture.
August 26 - Dog Day
Three light gray square shapes are scattered horizontally across the center of the graphic. Inside gray rectangles is a lavender square making the shapes similar to polaroid photos. Each polaroid shape has an actual photo of a dog coming out of them. A bernese mountain dog is on the left, a white golden retriever is in the center, and a chocolate lab is on the right. In the top and bottom corners of the graphic are cyan blue polka dots. The entire background is bright purple. Along the bottom edge says ‘CELEBRATING THE LOVE OF MAN’S BEST FRIEND,’ in small, bold, sans letters. Above the bernese mountain dog is a small laventer pill shaped rectangle with a black outline and drop shadow. Inside it is the date AUG. 26 in the same sans font, but in black instead of white. Stacked in the top center of the graphic, and above the retriever, says, ‘International Dog Day.’ The words are much larger but still use the same font, and have a thin black outline and a black dropshadow. International is white, while Dog Day is in lavender.
August 26 - Dog Day

Animated Graphics

A light orange background with a drawing of a half circle slice of pink watermelon in the center. Six bits are taken into the melon until it’s all gone and only the rind is left. The word ‘YUM’ appears behind the watermelon once it’s all gone. YUM is spelled out in white handwritten letters.
A large black, cat head shape fills the gif against a dark navy background. The cat head has a pink triangle nose, and muted gold eyes. Its black, thin rhimbus pupils move left to right. The cat’s mouth is drawn on with a white line. The line widens into a thick solid white smiling shape. Inside the mouth reads ‘caturday; in bode, sans, rounded, handwritten letters.

The marshmallow rises up and down in size as if it is breathing in and out. On the top graham cracker is the word ‘hold’ when the marshmallow is at its smallest and largest. When the marshmallow is growing in size, the top of the cracker reads, ‘Breath In’. When it’s shrinking the cracker says, ‘Breath Out.’ Above the smore says ‘Take Smore’, and below it says, ‘Time to Breathe.’ The top and bottom words are dusty blue with a darker blue outline, and in a bold sans font. All on a lighter brown background.
