Monthly graphics and content to use in your Arreya presentation

Included are image files we have created and selected free for you to use in your Arreya presentations. Click on the links to download this month’s backgrounds, holidays and events. 

Themes, Backgrounds, and Graphics

A digital image with shapes of fireworks cover the edges of the image. The fireworks have bursts of yellow to red or blue to yellow colors with a solid yellow center. The background is a dark blue vignette against a light blue center. Faint circles of either color are floating around the image. A hazy pink color covers the image.
Seasonal Background
The shapes of the numbers ‘2025’ overlap and extend over the entire image. Each number alternates from cyan to white gradient sections to royal blue sections. At the bottom of the second two are the small words ‘Happy New Year’ stacked on top of each other. A bold, white, sans font was used.
Jan 1 - New Year 2025
A dark navy night sky with small white stars fills the background. A drawing of a dusty and light blue unlit firework tilts up in the bottom right corner surrounded by light blue and gold four pointed stars floating up. Stacked and left aligned next to the drawings are the large words ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2025’. A bold, all-caps, sans font was used. ‘Happy, the explanation mark, and both the twos are the same dusty blue color of the firework. ‘New Year’, the zero, and the five are gold.
Jan 1 - New Year 2025
A pale, light yellow background with a thick gold rectangle horizontally filling the center of the image. Inside the rectangle reads ‘International Thank You Day’ filling the center and left side. White words fil the rectangle. To the right it reads ‘A day for us to express our gratitude’ in smaller letters. A vertical white line separates the two sections of text. Inset in the rectangle is a dashed white line border. Below the rectangle is the date ‘January 11’ in the same gold color. A thin, script font was used for all the words.
Jan 11 - International Thank You Day
An orange-pink side and light pink side diagonally fill the image and create shapes similar to right triangles.. The light pink starts in the bottom right corner, and the orange-pink in the top left. In the bottom reads ‘International Thank You Day’ in bold maroon, sans letters. A small date, ‘January 11’, sits below the word day. It uses a thin sans, maroon font. At the top left is a quote using the same font as ‘International Thank You Day’. The quote reads "Gratitude makes sense of out past, brings peace for today, & creates a vision for tomorrow.” ‘Gratitude is light pink, while the rest of the words are maroon. Below the quote is the credit ‘Melody Beatie’ in the same font, size, and color as the date.
Jan 11 - International Thank You Day

A solid light blue background with white snowflakes falling down from the top edge. In the bottom right corner is an illustration of a black and white penguin wearing a red and white striped scarf dancing.

A light pink background with a faint darker pink diamond line pattern. Across the top says ‘National Popcorn Day!’ in thick, all-caps, handwritten, sans letters. ‘National’ and ‘Day!’ are red, while ‘Popcorn’ is the same light pink as the background and is in a red rectangle. Coming up from the bottom edge are three piles of popcorn. The bottom left and right piles just show the yellow popcorn pieces. The center popcorn pile is in a red and white striped bucket which makes it a bit taller than the other two. Center at the bottom edge, and on top of the bucket, is a small red rectangle. Inside it is the date ‘January 19’ in pink. Thin red scribbles and drawings are scattered around the image. Such as fireworks, film tapes, and arrows.

A peach background. On the left is a drawing of a red and peach striped bucket overflowing with yellow popcorn. Three pieces of popcorn have fallen out of the bucket and are laying next to it. The bucket had a smiling face with its tongue sticking out drawn on it. To the right are the words ‘National Popcorn Day! Jan 19’ in bold, purple, sans letters.

Line drawings of peoples faces cover the white background in a rainbow of colors. On the left is a solid black silhouette of a man with his back facing the viewer. Horizontally across the bottom edge is a white rectangle. On the left side of the rectangle are the words ‘Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Right aligned in the upper right side is the quote “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” Behind the quote are more white rectangles for each line of text. A bold, black, sans font was used for all the text.

Each are coiled up and their heads facing to the left. The center snake has a small orange sitting on top of its head.
Jan 29 - Lunar New Year
A very light pink background with the words ‘Happy Lunar New Year’ are stacked in the center of the image. The words are metallic gold and use an italic, bold, script font. Below, in small, sans red letters, says ‘Wishing you wealth and prosperity.’ Drawings of various red paper lanterns hang from the top edge and surround the words. There are three lanterns on each side of the image and are hung at various heights.
Jan 29 - Lunar New Year
Three smiling marshmallows fall from the top left corner to almost into a cup filed with hot chocolate at the bottom center edge of the image. The words ‘Pour a warm & cozy treat for National Hot Chocolate Day January 31st’ are right aligned the the right of the marshmallows. ‘Pour a warm & cozy treat for National’ are small above the large words ‘Hot Chocolate Day’, and ‘January 31st’ is even smaller located just under the word ‘Day’. A thick, white, script font was used for all the words. All against a lavender background.
Jan 31 - National Hot Chocolate Day
A birds eye view of an illustration of two people’s hands holding white mugs filled with hot chocolate. The image has a bright blue background with scribbles of white lines surrounding the hands. In the bottom right corner is the small date ‘January 31’ in small, but bold, white, sans, all-caps letters. Stacked on top of the entire image are the words ‘National Hot Chocolate Day’. The words are left aligned against the left edge. An outlined, bold, all-caps sans font was used. Each letter has a thin black outline followed by a thicker white one, and the centers reveal the images behind them. Inside parts of each letter are areas of thick black and white stripes that don’t show the image behind.
Jan 31 - National Hot Chocolate Day
Illustrations of colored pencils of each a different color of the rainbow line each left and right edge of the image leaving the center solid white. Across the top and bottom edges are two pencils from either side crossing the entire image until they meet in the middle. One pencil is pink and the other light blue. At the top the pink is on the left and blue on the right. This is flipped on the bottom edge.
School Background
A bright blue background with icons of school supplies and symbols along the right side and the bottom left corner. The words ‘Happy 100th Day of School!’ stagger across the image. A white, bold, serif font was used.

Stripes of pale orange and yellow rays radially fill the background. A red apple icon fills the center. On top of everything is the large number ‘100th’ and below the words ‘Day of school!’. A bold, white, sans font with a thin red outline was used.

Retro, pastel green, blue, pink, and yellow drawings of circles, squiggly lines, triangles, and rectangles are scattered throughout the background. In the center of the image is a large, pastel orange circle. Inside the circle reads ‘Have a great 100th day of school!’. ‘Have a great’ and ‘Day of school!’ use a small thick, black, handwritten, sans font. ‘100th’ is very large and takes up most of the space in the circle. It is drawn with a black outline of each number and the center of each is filled with black scribbles.

Animated Graphics

Two red rectangular envelopes with gold circle seals tilt to either side of the gif and then come back together in the center of the image. When the envelopes tilt out pink cherry blossoms and gold coins appear all around the gif. The blossoms are also spinning in place. The coins and blossoms disappear when the envelopes tilt back to the center. The background is solid white with a light gray circle in the center. The center of the circle is also white.
Light pink, gold, purple, and green blobs of color fill the background. Flashing large red, and small blue circle confetti flash on top with little white circles filling the gaps. At the top edge of the gif reads ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR’ in bold white sans letters with-in a blue rectangle. The numbers 20 and 25 are stacked on top of each other in the center. The blue numbers have a thin solid or dashed white line in through their centers. The numbers are slightly tilting around. Below the numbers in a smaller zine, but with the same white font and blue rectangle, are the words ‘PEACE AND LOVE. There are four white drawings of wine glasses floating next to each number.

Around the circle are illustrations of the sun and multi-colored circles. In the center of the gif, and between the two ribbons is a pink heart with two hands grasping each other in the center. The heart is beating. On either side of the heart are two stems of flowers. Above the heart says ‘AS BROTHERS’ in a white script font. A solid pink background is visible at the top of the gif. The bottom is zoomed in on the liquid of what appears to be a cup of hot chocolate. Floating on top of the coco is a white marshmallow. The marshmallow has a smiling face with its eyes closed facing up.
A bubble gum pink background with darker pink and mint sprinkles spread across the gif. The words ‘Thank You!’ fill the center. The words use a handwritten, cursive font and start as a off-white color. Occasionally a strip of the color mint crosses the words bottom left to top right and then disappears.
A solid red background with an arm stretching from the right edge of the gif into the center. The hand is holding and moving a red and white striped bucket of popcorn up and down. The arm is wearing a white long sleeve shirt with red polka-dots.
