The racism and hatred that builds around inequality is in bold contrast to the mission and vision of Presentations /Arreya.  But the ongoing racial injustice makes it important for everyone to speak out publicly against racism and injustice. Our country, has experienced an ever increasing and ongoing battle with racial injustice, which emphasizes how much work there is to be done. Knowing that people live in fear as part of their daily lives because of the color of their skin is completely unacceptable.  We join with the peaceful protestors, families and friends and feel the same sadness and outrage at the total waste of life.

As an American based company that works globally, Presentations / Arreya is elevated by the many cultures and races that make up our planet. Our country is founded on our glorious melting pot of culture and is the backbone of our country’s greatness. We are convinced that all peoples and all human groups, whatever their composition or ethnic origin, contribute to the progress of the global humanity, civilizations and cultures which constitute the common heritage of mankind.  We embrace the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and fundamentally believe that everyone is an unique individual.

While no individual company’s statement or policies, alone, will change society, that shouldn’t keep each of us from trying.  Policies should be more than words. At Presentations / Arreya, it is our personal beliefs in racial and all equality that forms our corporate policies and our foundation. We outwardly endorse the uniting of the human race and consequently the fundamental equality of all human beings and all peoples. We are adamant that diversity and the sharing of information is the key to unlocking science and technology in an ever increasing global civilization for the survival of our planet and all species.

In addition, we strive to create a workplace where people feel like they belong and can use their unique backgrounds, talents and perspectives to their fullest potential. It is difficult to do this if you do not feel safe, physically or socially, or do not feel accepted or valued at work and in our communities — no matter your gender, color of your skin, sexual orientation, disability, religion or other unique qualities.

We are committed to starting new conversations, listening intently and doing what’s right. We support everyone who is speaking out and peacefully protesting. We encourage people to support organizations and movements that support diversity and inclusion.

The year of 2020 is a pivotal moment. At Presentations / Arreya, we chose an icon of “We’re In This Together”. First it was to unite the world to work against COVID-19, but now it means so much more. Together, we can do more to guarantee basic human rights and freedoms of every person are protected – especially groups that have been historically marginalized and discriminated against. Change needs to happen and it can only happen if it comes from every person, every generation and ever race and nationality.  No matter how small or how vast a statement, every ripple is felt across the waters.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world: Indeed it’s the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead
